Working on New York University proved once again that WEM is a leading company in the field. We faced a challenging task of removing a 500 square meter slab with a depth of 1.2 meters out of a closed area where conventional demolition methods could not be applied.
The project thus required some customized innovation due to the large number of coring works and the presence of major structural issues. WEM's team of specialists introduced a never-used-before solution in the UAE by resorting to an innovative scaffold design and later introducing a Spider Crane to accomplish the task in a record time of 10 days with maximum efficiency.
